At Galveston Shell & Shore, I believe in the beauty of handmade artisan goods. I am a proud member of the Seneca-Cayuga Nation, a federally recognized Native American Tribe. Each of my handcrafted items is authentically made and protected by the Indian Arts and Crafts Act of 1990 (P.L. 101-644).
In 2022, I moved from Denver, Colorado, and fell in love with Galveston Island. There's a rhythm to Galveston Island that slowly pulls you in - an easy-going blend of salt air, sea birds, sunrises, and sunsets. Gulf breezes carry stories through the palms, the tide marks time more gently than a clock. Life here isn't rushed, it's intentional, textured by history, community, and the ever-changing sea.
Galveston has a spirit all its own: vibrant yet laid-back, rich in culture, and grounded in nature, It inspires my creativity Collecting shells from the beach is more than a pastime - it's a quiet, meditative ritual.
I am a mindful collector, paying close attention to choose empty shells, avoiding live creatures, ensuring both respect and protection to our coastal ecosystems.
With each step along the shoreline, the ocean offers up capricious treasures. It's from those treasures I authentically create tiny pieces of art for you to take home as a forever-lasting memory of your time here on.
Galveston Island.
Naturally inspired. Thoughtfully selected. Beautifully displayed.
